Valentine...FUSION Card Challenge~Interlocking Hearts

Hello,

Happy Groundhog Day!  Hopefully, our Wiarton Willie will awaken to a cloudy day, heralding an early Spring. Fingers crossed...I'm ready for green leaves and flowers

Speaking of 'flowers', welcome to Fusion Card Challenge~Interlocking Hearts. The framed hearts-and-flowers, the vase of roses, the sketch...choices galore!

My card is a hybrid of both the image and the sketch, which I've 'slightly' adapted (of course...). Patterned paper floral frame, 'sketchy' heart, brick embossed background (a close-up of the image revealed a textured canvas, which fueled this particular decision) and, to represent the flag/banner, my Valentine sentiment....My sister-in-law claimed it for a friend yesterday, which makes me feel mighty happy...yet again! She's such a sweetheart!

For those of you new to FUSION challenges, and for those good friends returning: a quick outline/reminder of how things work:

PROCEDURES:

1. Play with just the sketch challenge.
2. Play with just the inspiration photo challenge.
3. Or you can create FUSION by combining BOTH challenges into one card.
4. Use the challenge graphic and link back to Fusion in your post.

Your turn!
What sparks your creativity? Sketch? Photo? Both?

Looking forward to seeing how this FUSION challenge will inspire you!

I'm not surprised your sister-in-law claimed this card, Carol. It is just gorgeous! The postal-edge frame is such a fun look with the heart.

Your 'hybrid' version rocks! (I giggled when I read 'hybrid'). The 'brick wall' is so cool and absolutely PERFECT for the rustic/sketchy heart. No surprise that the polkie dot frame made my heart sing :)

Amazing what you did with that Fusion picture - I immediately dismissed it as not at all stimulating.....You are making me reconsider!
