Hope you had a most wonderful weekend! Mine was spent puttering about and 'trying' to craft, but for some reason, Mr. Mojo was on vacation. I wonder if he headed to Eastern Canada with my husband, to help officiate bike races....
Anyway, just as I was 'starting' to feel some semblance of creativity surfacing, I received a note from my 'side job' boss (who is simply awesome!). letting me know that an editing job was headed my way. If you want to know anything about oil reservoirs, steam chambers, solvents and bitumen, just let me know; I may have the answers!
As I need to get back to the thesis, this will be a quick post - as will the next - for a couple cards I made earlier in the week and over the weekend.
My two cards here are for Colour Throwdown Challenge #409, with a photo and palette that are simply wonderful
I've been practicing my water-colouring with Concord and 9th's Wildflowers...
Still plenty of room for improvement, but a bit of headway happening...
Thank you so much for spending part of your day with me; your visit brings me joy!

Ooh, gorgeous and fresh!
As busy as you are, you still manage to create beautiful cards! I admire your abilities! The flowers here are so pretty! The colors are amazing together and the black sure helps make everything pop. Definitely brings a smile to my face! :) Thanks for sharing. Big hugs!
I absolutely love how your arranged and colored these stamps! Uh oh, I feel my wish list growing longer...
Well, of course your card is so balanced and lovely... are you an editor on the side of being and English teacher? Perfect! (Well, perfect when your clients listen! LOL!)

Simply gorgeous, Carol! Love the bold blooms!

Super fun arrangement of beautifully colored flowers.
This card made me swoon. I love your gorgeous coloring on these flowers and how perfect the layout is. And now I want those stamps. :)

Lovely, Carol ... those beautifully coloured wild blooms are gorgeous ... in both colour ways! Hugs, Anita :)
I love the layout of your design & the colours are beautiful! A truly pretty card!
Love the quilt and LOVE how you were inspired! Your cards capture the fabulous color combo beautifully as well as the clean, simple, fresh look of the quilt! Gorgeous!!!
I've avoided that set because I always struggle putting together random groupings - but you've inspired me. The splash of flowers diagonally across the card is a great look. I love how you've colored them.
