Purple Butterflies...The Damsel of Distressed~Hop to Stop, Virginia's View Challenge #19~All Things Coloured, Simon Says Monday Challenge~Ombre, Simon Says Wednesday Challenge~Anything Goes, The Daily Marker~30 Day Colouring Challenge

Hello,

Today, I'm joining our sweet, talented and inspiring Becca for The.Damsel of Distressed~Hop to Stop

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and this hop is designed to raise awareness about domestic violence, an issue that impacts 1 in 4 women WORLDWIDE. No matter where you live, someone near you is living in fear and in silence. Domestic Violence not only affects women but also their children.  For more information on Domestic Violence, the social impact and how you can help, visit your national domestic violence resource centre.

Together, we can make an impact, so here's how you can join in:
  • Make a new card/papercraft/mixed media project that FEATURES purple
  • Link it to Becca's blog before October 14, 12 noon CST
  • Provide a link back to the Hop (it would be great if you put the badge in, too)
  • Comment on at least  3 entries to be eligible to win one of the AMAZING prizes from the generous sponsors who are supporting this worthwhile cause:

My card features the lovely butterfly from Kylie's Butterfly Birthday set. The different shades of purple were created by varying the fusing times of ONE Chameleon pen; the "sprinkles" are stenciled in shimmery silver...

Please join in this hop; your support does matter and it does make a difference!

I'm also sharing my butterflies at:

Wishing you a wonderful Friday!

Oh my dear, sweet friend. Your signature butterflies are beautiful. I love that you love butterflies. For me they mean "new life." A regeneration of life; something more beautiful out of something less beautiful. They're perfect for this hop. Just perfect. LOVE this card. And, Dang!, those markers are something!! Bev

What a gorgeous card for such a worthy cause. Your butterflies are amazing. I think of the survivors transforming from victim to victor when I see the butterflies. I am awed that you got those beautiful shades from a single pen. Magical! Thank you so much for sharing and I hope you have a glorious weekend, Ms. C! Hugs!

One marker....really. OK, not to call you a fibber or anything, but that is really amazing. You must be a pro at figuring out how much water to add or subtract. Your butterflies are so perfectly placed on your card, and I just love how you have colored them. Great way to highlight this important issue.
