Melt...Inkspirational Challenge #89, Simon Says Wednesday Challenge~Food/Drink, Simply Create Too #92~Anything GoesSimpl

Hello!

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #89, where our fabulous Guest Designer, Susanne, my amazing Design Team -  PiaShaunaSandieMarinaNonniShaunaYvonne (our wonderful Kim is on vacation and having a most excellent time!) - and I, invite you to draw  inspiration from this word prompt:

How COOL is that?  Many of the DT interpreted this as ice or snow, but you might think of other things that melt (ice cream, frozen treats, p'raps?), or use something melted (embossing powder, wax) on your project.

Today, I'm sharing a *melt* inspired twofer.  First: a quadruple-scoops-with-hot-fudge-topping ice cream cone, that decided to pose twice, so you could see the sentiment, as well as the sparkles on the chocolate layer...

Second: my Purple Onion trio of snowmen, finally making their debut (bought them last Christmas and nearly forgot I had them! Sheesh!). By the way, did you know Purple Onion is having a 25% off sale? Just in case you need a shopping fix...

Yes, these snowy dudes need some shading, but until I figure out how to accomplish that with my Chameleon pens, they'll just have to remain as is...I'm working on it!

Please be sure to check out what Susanne and the DT have created; their cards are sure to 'melt'  your heart and spark your imagination!  Looking forward to visiting your interpretations in the gallery; the winner will be invited as a guest designer for a future challenge.  Hope it's 'you'!

Before I comment on your work, let me say a huge thank you for the heads up on my blog comment win! You are SO good to be on the look out and then let me know. Thank you! Big Hugs!! :D Your ice-cream card is scrumptious! A quadruple taste sensation capped with the lovely sprinkles on top! The colorful background also reminds me of the rainbow colored sprinkles. Yum! And then I see those delightful snowmen. Oh my, you've got the blending/shading down on those hats. And the scarves and the snow-capped trees. Your kindness and cards simply melt my heart! Hugs!

I choose the ice cream! Actually I and Pepsi sneaked down to the local Ice Cream house today when taking our long walk.....and I got just a tiny, tiny soft ice in waffle cone. I ate the ice cream and Pepsi the cone...win, win :D

Oh two of my favorite things, ice cream and snowmen!! Both of your cards are adorable Carol!! I am so in the mood for some cold snowman weather too! You're probably not quite ready for that up there, but it's been so hot here this summer. Beautiful coloring and die cutting on your cards today! Happy weekend!! :)

Ok, this is weird but... I'm coming to Canmore tomorrow (from Red Deer) to hike with a friend (you probably taught her son) and wondered if you would meet for coffee if you are around? Email me stampedgoods dot thisweek at gmail dot com stampedgoodsthisweek.blogspot.ca

Such a cute snowman set - love how you coloured them. As for the ice cream, you are now responsible for my mint chocolate chip craving which I can't fulfill because I am on a cleanse LOL!

Do you know what you just did? Yep, I now have a bowl of ice cream right beside me as I type this comment! Seriously yummy stuff.

Totally yummy card! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the sideways sentient - perfect with that nine million calorie treat!

Your snow people are so cute! Um....I'd say that these folks are sporting some mighty fine shading on their sweet ensembles! Seriously, great job coloring these wee snow folks!

Off to check out Purple Onion!
