Love Hearts...CAS(E) this Sketch #106, Curtain Call~Soft Scarf, W&W 1st Birthday Bash~One Challenge with Shay, TPE #282~Love

Hello once again,

I whisked home from work today, intending to assemble card pieces into a finished project before daylight disappeared, BUT my well intended plans went awry! My husband is 100% to blame: we had to welcome a new family member! Yesterday we chose it; today we brought it home. As much as I'd like to say *it* was a puppy (I love puppies!), nope! And *it* wasn't a new bike for my husband (although one is on order and should be joining his 'bike stable' soon).

*It* is a new 'used' car - something we very much need, as both our vehicles are...well, elderly. Of course, buying a new car means going for a drive to check out the cool gizmos (like seat warmers!) By the time we arrived home, evening descended, and I resorted to the 'best I could' with the lighting. My photo turned out a 'wee' bit better than I figured, and since time is ticking on one challenge, I'm going for it!

Here's my card...a simple  number where I used 'small' stamps to create my 'always love,' love you always,' and 'love you' sentiments on the hearts, which were then sponged with 2-3 colors of ink.

I'm sharing the "LOVE" over at CAS(E) this Sketch #106

W&W 1st Birthday Bash~One Challenge with Shay - I used one stamp set: The Big, the Bold and the Happy -

and The Pink Elephant #282~Love

Oh yes...the new used car is blue *grin*

NOTE:  Honoured and thrilled to discover that

THANK YOU!!

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs...

OOOooo. That heart border is really cool. I like how you've stamped some areas of them. Congrats on the new car. Now you'll have to go for a trip to break *it* in.

Beautiful card! I love your take on the sketch!
We got a "new-to us" car right before Christmas, so I know what you mean about the new gadgets! I didn't get seat-warmers (unfortunately!) but I do now have command start. :)

Nice! New cars are always fun. I got mine last March, though it's silver and not blue. Silver shows less dirt, and I'm lazy when it comes to washing the car, lol! Sweet card dear friend.Love those sentiments stamped on the little hearts - darn clever! Nailed the challenge once again! Bev

The lighting must not have been too bad because this card looks marvelous!! You captured the small words that were repeatedly stamped on those hearts and the sweet sponging you did of some of those hearts!!! I give this card an A+++ it made me smile, it touched my heart and it made me think of yet another way to stamp!!! Your signature style - trying something new and doing it with a flourish!!! Have a fun ride to your mom's in the new used car!!!

Fabulous card and I love your hearts with all the words, just so sweet. Congrats on your "new" car, so much fun. My van is elderly (love how you put that) and I would love a new car and heated seats are at the top of my gismo list! So fun.

I saw your card and headed straight to the freezer for a bowl full of ice cream. Why you ask? Well, your yummy stacked hearts totally reminded me of a hard ice cream cone, stacked with blueberry & strawberry ice cream! 12 million calories later, but yum yum good!

Beautiful inked edges, perfect 'sentiment stamped' hearts and a design that is the perfect take of the inspiration photo!

Enjoy the 'new to you' wheels!

Woohoo for a new car! Hope it treats you well for years to come. :)

And Carol, seriously, this card is gorgeous! The colours are GORGEOUS! The design is wonderful. I love everything about it!

There is an abundance (geesh - now that reminds me of my fourth grade teacher Mr. Dyerhurden, who would ask us "Have I made myself ABUNDANTLY clear?" about 20 times a day) of love on that card. The shading around the hearts adds so much depth and even hints of movement. LOVE it.

Love your cascading hearts, Carol! Congrats on the new car--even though a puppy would be so much more fun--LOL!
