Just A Note (x3)...Inkspirational Challenges #58: Designer's Choice~Clean and Simple, Card Mania CMC #48: Flowers

Hello and Happy Saturday!

Today, I'm honoured and delighted once again, to invite you to join us in the new Inkspirational Challenges #58: Designer's Choice~Clean and Simple.  Design team member, Sandie, who is cas-extraordinare, is challenging us to create a card featuring lots of white space and minimal embellishment.

I decided to go with a trio of note cards, each featuring a single flower and 'a little note' sentiment. Total creation time for all three - under 30 minutes! The most time consuming part was getting the stem stamp straight on my acrylic block, because 'someone' doesn't have a block with grid lines. Seriously. My cards' inspiration came from a piece of 12 x 12 designer paper I found while rummaging through my 12 x 12 stash.  Flowers on the paper = flowers on my stamp/die set. Matchy matchy opportunity!! After shaving snippets from the paper's edge to add to the popped up panels on the card, I had 'just enough' to make envelopes for the little gaffers. I love my envelope punch board...

Here's my trio of *cas*, followed by a couple of them posing next to their envelopes...

(sorry for the mini image...blogger apparently likes this size, claiming it as 'large'.
Humpph...Not in my books it isn't.)

Please head over to see what Guest Designer Sue, and the rest of the Inkspirational Team have created.  Dazzles and delights await you!!

Hope you'll add your Clean and Simple card to the challenge; I'm looking forward to seeing your fabulous, inspired creations!

I'm also entering into Card Mania CMC #48: Flowers. Thank you, Monika!!

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments make my day!

What a wonderful collection of CAS cards and what a cool inspiration. I love the placement of the sentiment. And this card has fab dimension but still lots of that gorgeous white space. And what about entering it our challenge at TIME OUT-Summer with the optional twist of flowers???

Now you've made the rest of the DT look like slackers - three cards! And in 30 minutes! It would take me much longer than that as I would make tons of mistakes and have to keep starting again. These are perfectly stamped, beautifully designed and is that stiching (faux?) around the edges? It looks great.

Very nice CAS note cards Carol. Even though I love most forms of cards I think this kind often conveys the desired message the best of any cards. Excellent.

What super cute CAS cards Carol!! I am so loving those little flowers. I hear you on getting long small stamps straight on the block. lol I usually line mine up on a grid line of my mat and then pick it up with the blog. So much easier than fighting with the stamp without any lines on the block. But back to your cute cards, I am just loving those sweet flowers and really love the envies you made from the inspiration paper!! I love my envie punch board too. Yes, these are super cute!!! Hugs, Brenda

Awesome set of card AND envelopes!! So sweet! And great use of your pattern paper!! If you don;t have a block with a grid, what about a mat? You can line up the stamp on the mat, then press block to it.... then you just have to stamp it straight! Easy, right?!?! LOL!!! :D
