Teachers...Guest Designer at Words 2 Crafty By Challenge #33~Every Child Deserves a Champion, Paper Smooches September Anything Goes Challenge

Hello,

Back in April, I was honoured to be selected as a Challenge Winner over at Words 2 Craft By and imagine my surprise when an invitation came along with it...

Today, I'm absolutely honoured and thrilled to be one of three guest designers over at Words 2 Craft By Challenge #33~Every Child Deserved a Champion.  This theme very much resonates with me, as
Aunty c to my precious niece and nephew, and as a teacher of  hundreds students taught over a career spanning many years (I am most definitely a 'veteran' teacher!).  As always, Words 2 Craft By offers us a quotation as inspiration:

Every child deserves a champion – an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best they can possibly be. Rita Pierson

Yes....this most certainly touches my heart....

Of course, being a teacher, it only seemed 'logical' to create teacher-themed cards/bookmarks, which I passed along to my sister-in-law who will share them with my niece and nephew's teachers.  All my images come from Verve's Teachers Count set, Paper Smooches Numbers Dies and Paper Smooches Bookmarks dies:

First, a white-on-white with a pop of 'apple,"

followed by polka-dots on white, with a pop of 'apple'.

A couple of apples for the teacher here...

and a bunch of bookmarks...both big and small...

I hope the joy I felt in creating these comes through loud and clear in the final results! Yes...every child DOES deserve a champion...and I hope that I've been one on a few occasions....

To the wonderful team at Words 2 Craft By: THANK YOU for this wonderful opportunity to play alongside you with this challenge!

To my sweet visitors: Check out the AWESOME inspiration over at the
Words 2 Craft By site; WOW guaranteed!
THEN:  please join in!

You have until October 5 to fill the gallery with your creativity!  See you there!!

Thank you so much for spending part of your day with me; your visit brings me joy!

Congratulations on your guest designer spot. Your work here is all kinds of awesome! Just as you are all kinds of awesome for the work you do with kids and I'm sure being a champion for many, many of them. The love and encouragement you provide to your sister crafters may be just a drop of the love and encouragement you provide your students. You are fabulous and I'm so happy to "know" you even a little bit. Your work here is fantastic! Hugs!!

Oh Congrats! Told you you're amazing! :) Love the teacher cards - especially the one with the numbers cut out and the paper peeking through. Bright primary colors and perfect for teacher.. but then you should be EXPERT on that! LOL!
