Coffee and Coffee Beans...Addicted to Stamps and More #157~Make Your Mark, AAA Cards #45~It's So Hot, Craft StamperTake It Make It August Challenge ~Pens and Pencils

Hello,

Welcome to Addicted to Stamps and More #157 where my fabulous design team and I are inviting you to join us in showcasing cards where you *Make Your Mark*.  Pencils, markers,  paints, chalks, gelatos...essentially, anything that allows you to 'make your mark' through colouring, stenciling, water-colouring...the works!  Remember: colouring is awesome therapy *grin*

I've created a sentiment-free card, using two of the stamps from Tim Holtz's mini coffee-themed set, coloured with Chameleons. Stamped the bag o'bean (and alas...didn't fuse the brown long enough, so "coffee" is a bit hard to see in the photo), masked it, and stamped the take-away cup of filled with steaming hot Pike's Place coffee, black...just the way I like it!  I used one of my splatter stencils and...done!  Made my mark!  I gave this to my sister, who plans to use it for a thank you card...yayyyy!

(Although the take-away cup looks askew, it isn't! Just the optics of how the stamp sits...and that's the story I'm sticking with! I'll make another card - or three- with this set to show you that I'm not as crooked a stamper as this makes me out to be *grin*)

After visiting my wonderfully talented team mates' creations, which are guaranteed to dazzle and delight, dash to your stash of  colouring/painting/stenciling tools, and design a little something to share in the ATSM gallery.  Need a bit more incentive?  How about this fabulous $20 gift certificate from sweet Michele?  Go. Now. Make your Mark!

I'm looking forward to being inspired by your creativity!

I'm also sharing my card at:

AAA Cards #45~It's So Hot:  as I mentioned above,  my cup is filled with medium roast coffee, hot and black....hope that fits the theme!)

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs,

This not a fan of coffee is sure a fan of the card you created, Ms. C! It's colored wonderfully and while I may not enjoy the taste of coffee, I sure do like the smell and I'm catching a faint whiff of it as I gaze upon this great card. Job well done!

Your card reminds me of my desk at work...and my craft desk....and my car - all have coffee rings and splatters marking my spot!

This really is a cool image! Never would have thought that your cup had a bit of a lean until I read your post. And honestly, still don't see it! Great shading on the cup and bag of beans! 35C here today so I'm hiding inside my craft room, visiting all my cyber pals :)
