You're So Sweet...Freshly Made Sketches #186, Happy Little Stampers May CAS Challenge~Die Cuts/Punches

(This is my second post...to see my STAMPlorations GD post, go here, then come play along)

Hello once again.

Quick post before the doors over at Freshly Made Sketches #186 close.
Here's the back story:  my mom's volunteer group is hostessing a Strawberry Tea, at the end of May, at the seniors' residence where she's volunteered for 35+ years.

Side note:  In late April, a local newspaper wrote an article about my mom and her group, highlighting  her/their commitment. She's the gal wearing beige. Isn't she cute? I think so *grin*

About the same time I learned about the tea, a new release of strawberry-themed sets appeared at Clearly Besotted.  I'll leave you to do the math of what happened next *grin*

I offered to make a card for each table...a bit of 'decor' and, hopefully, if someone is interested in buying them, a bit of a donation to the volunteers' resources.  Grand total = 15 cards.  Total made, to date = 2.  And, given that I'm terrible at mass-producing, I'll be working in groups of twos..at least, that's my thinking right now. Ideas perking.  Since we're heading to see my mom next weekend (woo hoooo Aunty C time!!!), I need these done by Thursday evening.  Of course, the 'tight timeline' is entirely my own fault. Working ahead...I just don't seem capable of rolling that way!

Warning: you'll be seeing strawberries often here this week...hopefully...

The first two...

The duo...

Plenty of die-cuts here: the red panel, two wreaths, 6 'big' polka-dot strawberries and 6 little solid strawberries.  Aren't they sweet little wreaths? Love it when the product does the work!  Speaking of work...my cuttlebug will definitely be getting plenty of exercise creating wee berries and berry blooms.  Sharing these over at Happy Little Stampers May CAS Challenge~Die Cuts/Punches

Strawberry shortcake, anyone?

Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs,

Ooooooh these are both so pretty!! I really want that stamp and die set too! I love strawberries! Such a wonderful idea to use them on the tables and hopefully get some sales for donations! I would think they would grab these up in a hurry! Hope you have a wonderful time with your mom and little ones! Good luck getting your cards all made too :) ((Hugs))

I love the picture of your Mom, Carol. She reminds me of mine, only decidedly younger. How sweet of you to make cards for the tea. You have a great start with these two. One thing I hate is mass producing. I get bored doing the same thing over and over.

Your mom is so dear and amazing Carol! I can see the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with you my sweet friend. How sweet of you to do this and hopefully raise some money too. Your cards are beautiful!!!! I love that little wreath and those wonderfully cute strawberries! I think I'm in love with that little stamp and die set. lol You can do it, and I know you will have them all ready to go when you head to your mother's and your Auntie time! Hugs, Brenda

Yummmmmmm strawberry shortcake! These are going to make great decorations and I have no doubt that someone will snap this duo up in a heartbeat. They are quintessentially summer with that lush, rich red and berry goodness. Awesome!

Great start! Awesome prototypes....now just make another kazillion and it will be mission accomplished! Sure can relate to your 'mass producing' issues!

I think it's a tie between more pink or more white! Looking forward to seeing the others.

Talk to you later pal!

Your mom is adorable! And what a wonderful organization she formed to make the lives of the residents better. I LOVE your Strawberry-themed cards Carol, and I'm sure the people at the tea will love them too! Thanks for playing along at Happy Little Stampers. xx

These are so sweet, and I like that they are like mirror images. Surely that has got to make things a little bit easier on the mass production front. I have never seen a strawberry wreath before, and now I think every wreath should have strawberries!

Love the opposites! The one with green is fun and DOESN'T look like a holiday card. I never use red and green except for holiday cards, afraid!
