Hello,

Popping in quickly to share my card inspired by Donna's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #731.

AAA Cards Challenge #312 - Butterfly Hello (Simply Stated Design)

Hello,

Welcome to AAA Cards Challenge #312 - Follow My Lead. The 'lead' we're following is Jane, who's pretty card you'll see below.

My take on Jane's card is pretty clear: a strip of pretty paper, a bold 'sentiment' - which in my case is a butterfly, and a friendly "hi" - evident on my card as a 'hello'.
I'm rather smitten with Jane's inspiring card; a design that I'm sure I'll be reaching for again.

Inkspirational Challenge #365 - Visual Prompt - Sketch - Radiating Blooms Thank You

Hello,

Welcome to Inspirational Challenge #365 where we invite you to get creative with our Visual Prompt: SKETCH. It’s been five years since our last sketch challenge, so we’re excited to bring one back

This design is simple and flexible. Feel free to adapt it to suit your style — your card base doesn’t need to be square and the smaller shapes in the lower right can be any shape you like. As long as your project captures the essence of the sketch, you’re all set!

My card follows the sketch closely, only because I had some stenciled squares from my Better Press Society Radiating Blooms on my desk; leftovers from another project. Pulled out some nesting square dies, added a few blingy bits and ta da...done!

Please head to the main blog to see fabulous inspiration from my teammates.
Looking forward to a gallery filled with your interpretations of the sketch!

Thank you for dropping by!

Just Us Girls Challenge #818 - Word Week - Spotlight Technique - Radiating Blooms Grateful For You

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #818 where Ina, our hostess, has selected the SPOTLIGHT TECHNIQUE as our Word Week inspiration.

Once gain, we're delighted to have Rosemary joining us as our April Guest Designer.

I've gone with a simplified version of this technique, featuring my Radiating Blooms Better Press Society plate. Perhaps it's not quite 'correct' but...I'm happy with the results.

Please visit the main blog to see fabulous Spotlight-ing from our Guest Designer and the rest of my fabulous team.

Looking forward to seeing your cards/projects in the gallery.

Thank you for dropping by!

Just Us Girls Challenge #817 - Die Week - Hello Spring Cute Sheep (Cute Sheep Ephemera - SSD, Spellbinders)

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #817 where Sue invites us to use SPRING or EASTER die cuts on our cards/projects this week.

We're delighted to have Rosemary joining us as our April Guest Designer.

I've used one of the adorable Cute Sheep from the Simply Stated Design ephemera collection of the same name for my card. Isn't she adorable in her Spring outfit - red polka dot raincoat and shiny yellow rain boots - delivering a bouquet of tulips.  So sweet; that face!

Please visit the main blog to see fabulous inspiration from our Guest Designer and the rest of my talented team.

Looking forward to seeing which  SPRING or EASTER die cuts you'll be featuring on your projects.

Color Hues Challenge #130 - Fuchsia and Navy - Just A Note to Make You Smile (Better Press Society Flowers and Rays)

Hello,

Happy April 1st...already!

Welcome to Colour Hues Challenge #130 where our wonderful team leader invites us to play with hues of Fuchsia and Navy for the next two weeks. Such a striking combination!

I'm on a mission to use my collection of Better Press Society plates. For this challenge, the Blooms and Rays (February 2026) came out for a play. The plate creates a full panel of the flowers/rays, however, I decided to case one of the styles from the inspiration sheet. The combination of the glimmered/stenciled images - in light shades of fuschia and navy, pair wonderfully with my cardstock squares.  I can use the remaining images to make more cards in a similar style: bonus!  The sentiment is from Alex Syberia Designs.

Please head to the main blog to see fabulous inspiration from my teammates, then join us in the gallery with your takes on Fuchsia and Navy.

The challenge will be open until April 14th @ 9:00am (EST).

The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.

Thank you for dropping by!

AAA Birthday Card Challenge #84 - Use Washi Tape - Let's Celebrate Florals and Butterflies (Layer It Up Washi - AALL and Create)

Hello,

Happy April 1st...already!

A new month means a new challenge; welcome to AAA Birthday Card Challenge #84 where we're inviting you to make Washi Tape a feature on your cards. So many varieties; so many ways to use it.

We're delighted to have Silke joining us as our Guest Designer.

My card features a new-to-me product: Layer It Up Washi Tape from AALL & Create (also a new-to-me company). Simply line up four strips of the washi and watch the beautiful florals and butterflies image emerge. Of course, the washi can be used as 'simple' strips - which I've done on the background panel - but isn't the effect of layering it wonderful?  I feel like such an artist! LOL! I have a couple rolls of this tape with different patterns; looking forward to spending time crafting with them.

Please visit the main blog to see fabulous inspiration from my teammates.
Looking forward to seeing how you showcase washi tape on your cards.
