HLS May 2021 Stencil Challenge~Anything Goes...Pinkfresh Studio Layered Florals Slimline

Hello,

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers May 2021 Stencil Challenge, where we have free rein to show off our stencils in whatever fashion we choose. Anything goes!

I'm sharing one, of three, cards I made using a variety of Pinkfresh Studio products. Aside from the stamped outlines, everything else is stenciled. Layering stencils are soooooo cool! I've left it sentiment-free, keeping options open for a variety of occasions.

Looking forward to seeing your stencil sensations in the gallery!

HLS May 2021 Christmas Challenge~Anything Goes (optional twist: Mistletoe)...Sending S'More Love at Christmas

Hello,

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers May 2021 Christmas Challenge, where Anything Goes with, should you so choose, the optional twist of mistletoe.  Even though here, in North America, summer is on the horizon, at the rate the year is flying, Christmas will be here before we know it. Time to start building our holiday stash!

Obviously, I was having a sweets craving that resulted in the making of this card (along with a bunch of Smarties!). Everything S'Mores is from The Greetery; the stenciled background from The Stamp Market. And now, as I write my post, the desire for chocolate is becoming very strong! Off to indulge...

That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see my talented teammates' festive delights.
Looking forward to seeing your Christmas makes in the gallery!

HLS May 2021 CAS Challenge~Fun and Games...GAME ON! Hope Your Birthday is Epic!

Hello,

Welcome to Happy Little Stampers May 2021 CAS Challenge, where we're inviting you to bring 'Fun and Games' to your cards/projects.

A while back, I die cut a bunch of the game consoles from MFT and finally, I'm getting around to adding them to card bases.  Here, I'm showcasing the smaller die...complete with fiddly little buttons! They really are fun to make, even if the dots wind up all over the place before they get to where they should be. Once I had them placed, they received a coating of glossy accents; those babies are staying put!

That's it from me; please head over to the blog to see how my talented teammates - Kylie, Lindsey, Anita, Charlotte (Lady Joyful), Ma-Mi,Bozena, Lynda (loopyloo), Julie and Ceal - interpreted this month's theme. A reminder that we're looking for CAS designs.

See you in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

The Color Hues Challenge #17~Red and Orange...Dahlia Turnabout I Appreciate You

Hello,

Can you believe it's May 1st already? Amazing how time flies!  We're starting the month off with Colour Hues Challenge #17,where we're inviting you to use hues of Red and Orange as your inspiration for the next two weeks.

My Concord & 9th Dahlia turnabout hasn't seeing inking in a long, long while, so out it came. With four quick turns, it worked a charm for allowing me to use two hues of each challenge colour. Easy-peasy...especially with a sticker sentiment.

Please visit the rest of the team, along with our guest designer and my Canadian friend, Tracey ; they've created quite the array of dazzling delights with Red and Orange:

The challenge is open until 9:00 AM (EST) on May 14th.
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live (May 16th).
The overall winner will have the opportunity to be a
future Guest Designer!

Thank you for dropping by!

Inkspirational Challenge #238~Sketch...Missees Selfies #Sweet

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #238, where Shauna has selected a sketch as our prompt for the next two week. I can't recall the last time we offered up a sketch, so this will be a TON of fun, especially as the squares can be represented by any shape or image.

True story: I have embraced the Missees collection to the nth degree! For whatever reason, I simply can't get enough of these images, especially the ever-so-clever die sets (which you'll see in action fairly soon...).  Today, I'm featuring one of the stamps from the Betty collection (I'm awaiting the arrival of Tasha and Carol) who nestled into the filmstrip dies - and accompanying panels - from Mama Elephant. My copic skin blends need some work but overall, I'm happy with the results.

Please check out my teammates' takes on the sketch, then play along with us!

Just Us Girls Challenge #582~Word Week...Dreaming of Seeing You Soon (floating bunnies from MFT Sky High)

Hello!

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #582, where our sweet Sue has select *Float* as this week's prompt. Loads of possibilities, from balloons, to boats, to root beer/ice cream floats. Let your imagination...well, float!

Joining us as our May guest designer is  Jacinda; you're sure to love her creativity as much as we do.

I've brought out MFT's Sky High kit, from a while back for this challenge, and created a trio of little floating, dreaming bunny scenes. Those bunnies...soooo cute! Purple gingham for backgrounds? Yes, please!

That's it from me; looking forward to seeing how *Float*inspires you!
