Inkspirational Challenge #204~Word Prompt: Fauna...Foxy Thank You and Elephant Congrats

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #204, where we're prompting you to bring FAUNA (aka: animals) to your creations. I'm sure you have one - or several *grin*- critters in your collection.

Before I carry on: we're so sad to share that our sweet, inspiring, talented Sandie, the Queen of CAS, has made the difficult decision to leave Inkspirational...for the time being (that's my hope, anyway). Sandie...you will be missed! We LOVE YOU! Even though you're not here, we know you're still crafting and we know where to find you!

Given the terrible fires in Australia and the tragic loss of animal life, I'm hoping to see plenty of koalas, kangaroos and other species indigenous to the area in the gallery. Alas, nothing of that nature is  in my collection 'stamp-wise', but I did order a cross-stitch koala pattern from The Frosted Pumpkin, the proceeds of which will be donated to Wildlife Victoria.

Two cards from me today, using images from Playful Animals (Pinkfresh Studio) and sentiments from The Stamp Market. Although one fox, one elephant and both sentiments appear 'black' they're actually a deep navy. My photography..sighhhh!

Just Us Girls Challenge #518~Trend Week: Create Dimension...Thanks So Much

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #518, where our sweet Maria invites us to bring some DIMENSION to our cards/projects this week. I pop-up/stack something on nearly all my cards (one-layer cards are my greatest challenge!), this was right up my alley!

I have dimension++ on my card today *grin*! The flowers are popped up with foam tape; the sentiment is stacked 6 high (three for the background, three for the letters...thank heavens for Die Cut 'n Bond!) AND popped up with foam tape! I loved making this card and I'm happy with the results.  Hope it brings you a smile! Everything is from The Stamp Market.

After the frantic flurry of creating Christmas tags and cards throughout November and December, it's challenging to shift gears and move out of the Christmas/winter groove. So I didn't *grin* My 'family portrait' trio is back, this time with plaid 'snow' and a feathered friend!

Happy Little Stampers January 2020 Christmas Challenge~Anything Goes (optional twist: Trim the Tree)

Happy New Year...and welcome to Happy Little Stampers January 2020 Christmas Challenge, where Anything Goes is always the theme, with an optional twist that, this month, is Trim the Tree.

For a 'surprising' change, I decided to go with the twist! I've trimmed The Stamp Market Dotted Tree in plaid (using up every last snippet of this fabulous paper) and decorated it with a simple Christmas banner, also from TSM (as is the ink). Easy...and a card to add to my Christmas 2020 collection! Yayyy!

Just Us Girls Challenge #517~Word Week...Christmas Snowflake

Happy New Year and a warm welcome to our first challenge of 2020:  Just Us Girls Challenge #517~Word Week. Angie, our lovely hostess, has selected Snowflakes as this week's theme. Perfect for this time of year, especially where I live!

We're thrilled to welcome two talented guest designers to the JUGS family for January: Mary Deatherage and Hannelie Bester, who will join us beginning Jan. 11th. After a couple of weeks of zero card-making, I have to 'ease' back into the zone *grin*, so I'm starting with a simple card: patterned paper sprinkled with snowflakes as the background for my big die-cut snowflake and Christmas sentiment (The Stamp Market). My husband was shocked that I'm still making Christmas cards in January...poor guy! He just doesn't get it! But he really liked my card!

I started with this one, then wound up with two more! Pretty little pops of colour (The Stamp Market Papillon and A Few Words) that make me smile!

STAMPlorations January 2020 CAS Challenge~Anything Goes (Optional Twist: Anything Metallic)...Thanks

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  May you receive an abundance of blessings throughout 2020! 

New year, new month, new challenge! Welcome to STAMPlorations January 2020 CAS Challenge, where Anything Goes is always the theme, with an optional twist which, this go-round is 'Anything Metallic."

No metallics from me; rather, plenty of sparkle! I masked off one of the sections of the Merry Go Round Stencil, covered it with Gina K Glitter gel, set it aside to dry, then added a several-die-cuts-stacked-for-thickness sentiment from the awesome new Skinny Sentiments dies. The letters are so easy to work with, especially if, prior to die-cutting, you adhere your cardstock to a 'sticky' material. I used Die Cut n' Bond. Worked like a charm!
