Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #663, where our talented, sweet Carol Mc has created a lovely moodboard as this week's inspiration. Colours, images (cookies, coffee and a good book, anyone?), 'mood' evoked...whatever sparks your creativity is fine by us!
Once again, we're delighted to have Jules Peddicord as our January Guest Designer. You will love her card - as you will those by my teammates.
Pretty easy to see what caught my eye: a teacup, colours and cookies. A few companies' products played together in the making of this card: Pigment Craft Co. (coverplate, teacup), Spellbinders (plate from pie collection), Honey Bee stamps (sentiment) and MCT (the cookies, which are actually small dies meant to be snowballs).
Excited to see your takes on this awesome moodboard!
What a fabulous card to wish someone a fabulous day. Great job using your stash to make a delightful card, Carol!
ReplyDeleteI wondered if anyone would do cookies. They look yummy, Carol, with the cup of tea. What set is that sentiment from? I can see using that often.
ReplyDeleteCarol.... sooooo cute! Love the cup and the little chocolate chip cookies. Such a fun card! You have the best sets in your stash!
ReplyDeleteI love your striped cup of tea with the yummy cookies! Great background, too. I love how you used the snowball dies to create the cookies, so creative!
ReplyDeleteNot being a coffee drinker, I immediately thought of a cup of tea with warm chocolate chip cookies when I saw your cute card! You took the pictures and kept the mood while making it cozy! Love it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSuper coffee card! I adore the color combo too
ReplyDeleteWhat cute little cookies! I like the big blue striped cup too. Darling card, Carol!
ReplyDeleteCarol, This is darling but I think I would need a couple more cookies to be satisfied, they are pretty tiny! LOL HUGS!
ReplyDeleteI'm heading over to share a cuppa with you especially with those cookies. More cookies for Nancy and I and we may need a second cup too. Looooooove your take on our mood board Carol.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely captured the mood of the photos. Love the texture on the background. I would love to share a cuppa with you one day!
