Just Us Girls Challenge #647~ Photo Week - Back to School Cards

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #647, where our wonderful hostess, Lisa E, has a bright back-to-school (can you believe it! How fast did the summer go!) photo as inspiration. Lots of possibilities to spark ideas: theme, colours, art supplies, stars, apples...

This is the final week for Cathy Roffey, our August guest designer. I'm sure you'll agree that her cards were both delightful and wonderfully inspiring! Thank you, Cathy, for sharing your creativity with us!

Two cards from me, using assorted papers, stickers and die-cuts from Echo Park. One will head to my niece, who'll be in Grade 7 this year (ACK!!!); the other to my nephew, going into Grade 5 (ACK again!). They're growing up way way way tooooo fast!

Looking forward to seeing your takes on this fun photo!

Thank you for dropping by!

  7. Two amazing cards, I love them both! Those papers make the perfect backgrounds and love the sentiments in white on the dark backgrounds. That second one with the pencils and the perfect sentiment is so cleaver.
