Hello,
WOW...February 1st already! Time for Color Hues Challenge #34, where Karen is inviting us to use hues of Red and Black for the next two weeks. A dramatic combination for so many occasions.
I've used my Elizabeth Craft Phone Booth Kit, meant to be a journal/album, to create a slimline card, simply by not using the planner dies. Loads of versatility with this collection; I just need to do more playing.
While making the phone booth, I remembered my gorgeous Ciao Bella *Snow in the City* collection. I've made an album with a good selection of the papers (not shared as yet), but have an assortment of pieces that are perfect for cards/tags. This image here: one of my favourites. I thought it went nicely with my phone booth, so a pairing was made.
Looking forward to how Red and Black inspire you!
This challenge will be open until February 14th @ 9AM!
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live.
The overall winner will have the opportunity to be a
future Guest Designer!
These cards are just incredible! I love them both, and they make a wonderful pairing for sure!
ReplyDeleteLove your take on the colours Carol, just shows there is plenty of variety to be had in the interpretation! :)
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are just perfect!
ReplyDeleteYou always think outside the box and surprise me with your creations. The phone booth is fantastic and that DSP is as pretty as can be. You can keep the snow though. LOL. Cyber hugs!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! I love that phone booth! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are so unique! I love it. The phone booth dies make a really fun card! And the picture on the other card is amazing. They pair perfectly. Thanks for sharing these wonderfully unique cards. :)
ReplyDeleteThat paper is gorgeous and adding the phone booth is genius. What a great card this is.
