Hello,
Once again, we're delighted to have
Karen Walker as our guest designer, with a lovely ombre green stripes card. It's a 'must see', as are all those by my teammates:
Sue,
Angie,
Vicki,
Ina,
Bobby,
Nancy,
Lisa, and
Maria. If you have a chance to leave comments, that would be wonderful!
My card is 110% a case inspired by super talented @e_emilsson (instagram); her ability to transform a single stamp/die set into several innovative versions is amazing. She certainly knows how to maximize her products! When I saw one of her Halloween cards (I can't give a link with new Blogger, sighhhh), I knew I had to replicate it because a) it's adorable and b) I'm in full-fledged Halloween mode. What you see are three little ombre background scenes, using a mini Tim Holtz bricks stencil and the adorable Mama Elephant Boo Agenda ghosts. Yes...I copied Eleanor, with a couple small twists (ink blending rather than water-colour and different ghosts), but...when I see something that makes me happy, that's what I do!
Stage turned over to you!
Looking forward to seeing your ombre creations in the gallery!
Thank you for dropping by!
Oh my goodness, Carol. I LOVE this! It's beyond adorable. The use of the stencil is wonderful. Little fun peeks. Those little ghosties are definitely too cute to spook. Fantastic card, my friend! It gave me a shiver of delight! :)
ReplyDeleteThose cute images just make me smile!
ReplyDeleteYou do have the knack of creating adorable Halloween cards! I love the brick stencilling and of course those sweet ghosts.
ReplyDeleteSimply brilliantly made Carol. So love this card and such fun!
ReplyDeleteNot sure what is left to say to my Slimline Halloween card making Queen! Love that you chose purple for the brick! Gosh, I wish we were neighbors! You wouldn't be able to get rid of me...I would want you to teach me all that you know and to play with all of your goodies!
ReplyDeleteCaseing is definitely a form of compliment in my book! This is so stinkin' cute! Love those little ghosts and the brick stencil was a perfect choice!
ReplyDeleteThis is so stinking cute! I love your ombre bricks and those adorable little ghosts. Awesome design on this slimline creation!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Casper and all his friends have come for a visit. Darling card, Carol. I'm trying to get into Halloween mode and I only have a short time to get 10 cards done. I wish I had some patterned paper to help me along since I don't have any cute stamps like this.
