Just Us Girls Challenge #494~Wild Card Week...You are RAD!

Hello,

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #494 where Ina has chosen a *wild* theme for this week: Fancy Folds!  I'm just a same old, same old kind of card-maker (plain ol' A2, usually side folding), so this was definitely a challenge. Skills stretched for sure...and that's a good thing *grin*


This is the final week for Marlena McDeavitt as our guest designer; Marlena, thank you so much for sharing your inspired, inspiring creations with us throughout June! Please visit her, as well as my teammates - Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa and Maria - who would love to know you dropped by.
After several 'experiments,' I finally managed a gatefold card that, for the most part, does 'meet' in the center. I covered my various sections with Boys Rule papers and ephemera by Cocoa Vanilla.  I'm planning to give this to my nephew...just need to find a photo to place inside the frame. I hope he'll like it; I think he is mighty RAD!!

    I think that’s a fantastic, very masculine and fun gatefold card! I’m sure your nephew will be tickled pink (or blue ��) to receive it.

    Fabulous simple boy card Carol. So 'cool'. Will be perfect when you add your nephews photo (or whatever you choose) to the centre.

    This is such a perfect card for a boy and I love the frame on the inside, too! Great choice of papers on this beauty!
