Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge 493, where our lovely Lisa invites us to draw inspiration from a tropical paradise!
We're thrilled to welcome Marlena McDeavitt as our guest designer once again. Please visit her, as well as my teammates - Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa and Maria - who would love to know you dropped by.
Simple beach card, using images from MFT's Penguins in Paradise and their Cloud stencil, along with a sun from YNS. Sparkly sand and beverages, but hard to see in the photo. All the rain we've been having sees me longing for sunshine, blue skies and warmer (but not too warm) temperatures...
Over to you...
Looking forward seeing your photo interpretations in the gallery!
Lookd delightful and delicious! Delightfully delicious??
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the rain. We have been getting way too much here too. But your card is all sunshine and warmth! I love your interpretation!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this soooooooo much!!! I think I need these images! Way to enable Carol!!! LOL You nailed this week's challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreat coloring, the drinks look amazing! So beautifully CAS and perfect!
ReplyDeleteI am loving this tropical delight! Beautiful coloring on those flowers and the coconut drinks. Love the bright sun in your soft sky and the soft sand the drinks are sitting in. Beautiful! This makes me want to go back to Hawaii!
ReplyDeleteYou certainly nailed this challenge with your 'oh so tropical scene' Carol. Love how you have highlighted just a small cloudy sky adding the sun and sitting those cool drinks on the sand. Nice touch with the tropical hibiscus flowers. Cheers to you!
ReplyDeleteAdorable "tiny" scene. Fun drinks too :)
ReplyDeleteThis is perfection! I love the beachy summer sky background right on the card base for the tropical drinks and flowers!
ReplyDeleteFun take on that photo, Carol! Hope you're having a great summer!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sweet I love them little clouds so softly in the background, hugs Pops x
ReplyDeleteI could use one of those cocktails right about now, Carol. They are so cute sitting in the sand just waiting to be consumed.
