Waving at everyone from our *very* snowy surroundings and welcoming you to Inkspirational Challenge #171~Word Prompt: COMFORT.
Before sharing my card, please meet the new designers joining the Inkspirational team:
Given the cold weather, the accumulation of white stuff and the rapid approach of Christmas, I decided to go for a 'cozy' take on comfort, using my new Concord and 9th Cozy Christmas set, which I purchased because alllll of the cards showcased on their site caught my eye. I essentially - and shamelessly - cased one for this challenge (although it didn't turn out as beautifully as theirs did - more practice required).. Kraft background, traditional Christmas colours...'cozy and comfy', in my world.
Looking forward to seeing your interpretations of COMFORT in the gallery!
Thank you for dropping by!
This really is cozy-the pattern is just like a cozy little sweater and super idea to place this on kraft-seems to make it more comfy!
ReplyDeleteAdore this card, Carol! I think you amped up the cozy awesomely! Love the colores against the kraft. Thank you SO much for sharing! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteThis knitting and stitching inspired stamp set is going straight on my wishlist! Comfy and cozy indeed, and even more so with the Kraft and traditional Christmas color combo. Love it!
ReplyDeleteJust perfect for the challenge! I love these images, I'm sure you made a good buy for this Christmas, this a very versatile set! I actually had to pause writing this comment and go to see the set in the store... Really love it. It might find it's way to my Christmas cards as well! The kraft base looks very pretty. xxx
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic! What a perfect set to use in the comfort challenge! These colors look great on kraft and I really like the stitched effect.

ReplyDeleteStay warm, my friend!
Looks hand stitched, Carol. Comfy and cozy indeed.
ReplyDeleteCarol, this is a great card! I love the stitching and your use of cozy. Your card makes me think of a jumper (sweater) you would wear around Christmas in your neck of the woods. It would be way too hot here for that... LOL. I can't believe it is already snowing there - is it early?
