I should be packing for our upcoming *finally* vacation, but instead...snuck in a little crafting time.
First, over at MUSE Challenge #224, sweet Tracey created this card to inspire us:
Simon Says Stamps Fingerprint Doodles appeared in my mailbox while I was at my mom's so...they came out for a play. Such fun, those little critters!
NOTE: Honoured and delighted to be one of the Featured Members at MUSE Challenge #224! THANK YOU!
Since I have bird-terror, no way was I heading that direction. Uh Uh. Nope. Instead, I brought out the stamp and die set I was fortunate to win over at Pinkfresh studios...Unicorn Dreams. Now 'that' kind of flying creature I can handle...horn, hoofs and all *grin*
Thank you for dropping by; your visit is both welcomed and deeply appreciated!
Great cards, Carol! Love those little fingerprint doodly animals - they're so cute! And your unicorn take on Cornelia's card is fun! So glad you joined us at Muse this week!

ReplyDeleteOh those critters on your first card are so fun. I remember trying to create them when I was younger, but they never looked as cute as these! And your sweet whimsical unicorn is lovely in the field of flowers. Great job on both cards!! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Carol... that unicorn is fantastic! Love the way you have set her against that wonderful stencil and placed her among the flowers. Awesome CASE of Cornelia's card. Thank your for linking up and playing with us at Time Out! Also love your fingerprint doodles card - are you familiar with Ed Emberly's books? So much fun with thumb/finger prints!!!
ReplyDeleteThat fingerprint card is just so adorable , but do you really needs stamps for that - I bet you could doodle that yourself! So sorry I terrorized you again with my love for birds, but you found a great solution - that elegant unicorn is fabulous! Loving that soft stenciled background - just perfect to set it in scene! So fun to see everybody's interpretation!
