Even though St. Patrick's Day is rapidly approaching, yours truly's stash is bare when it comes to Irish themed images. So...adaptations must be made, and adapt I did! Today's focus: CAS cards, easily recreated and, in honour of St. Paddy, green is the theme!
My first card features the brand-spanking new Happy Background Die. This little number zips up a smile-making card base in record time and you can decide what kind of "happy" you want to celebrate by changing up the background or with an inside sentiment. I'm sure you'll find other ways to use this delight...but this version is quick. The bonus: you can save the whimsical happy cuts for another project!
I often associate St. Patrick's Day with 'sparkle', be it a twinkle in the eye of a mischievous leprechaun, the glimmer of the sun shining on the pot of god at the rainbow's end, drops of dew on deep green shamrocks...With such thoughts in mind, I turned to the Leave A Little Sparkle stamp which I think looks quite fetching on its stenciled background of Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron. I'm quite loving this combination of late...

ReplyDeleteDon't know which card I like more, the die cut one or the stenciled one! That die cut is so versatile and I love the fresh color and the polka dots! But I also love the colors of the beautifully stenciled background. It makes this gorgeous stamp shine! Glad you didn't make me pick a favorite!

Perfect to use with lots of different sentiments on the inside and so fresh and festive in the lovely bright green and fun polka dots!!!! Your second card is a winner!!!!
