Yes, many of us are in the midst of creating cards/projects that are fall and *ahem* Halloween themed, BUT in the back of our minds, we're well aware that Christmas is drawing near. Very near!
Have you started your Christmas cards yet? I know some of you have...some of you are likely close to done and some of us...well, we're in the 'thinking about' thinking about Christmas cards stage. Guess which category I fall under...easy, right? However....
Today, I'm here with a 'reminder' card for Tag, You're It Challenge #32, where Kelly's darling Santa tag is taking center stage...
Guess what I did *pats self on back*...made a Christmas card! Yay...that makes...let's see...three done! On. A. Roll! (she says, in jest...)
Anyway...my card parallels Kelly's with having a
- Santa (Mama Elephant)
- a gold 'joy' sentiment (Clearly Besotted)
- kraft card base
- red patterned paper.
I added the ME tree simply because it's so darn cute!
For more inspiration, head over to Tag You're It here and here to see my talented DT's creations. Inspiration guaranteed! Looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!
Wishing you a wonderful Friday; so glad you dropped by!
Hugs,
So cute! Adorable design :)
ReplyDeleteYAAY! You gave the new stamps and dies something to do; absolutely lovely as I knew it would be! So happy that they have found a new home with you and are getting some love :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet card! The Santa and tree are adorable and I adore your background paper!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh Carol! Someone is gonna flip out when they open this cutie! Beautiful coloring and I love that delicate "joy" die cut on top!
ReplyDeleteI love how you colored the Christmas tree - leaving a bit of white on the branches really defines the layers! Craft paper and red always seem so country Christmas! Might be making a trip west the weekend of Nov 21st. Will keep you posted.!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous card! That Santa & tree from ME are the cutest! xo
ReplyDeleteYou know you deserve that pat, and I'd give you another, c... this is darling! Oh and thanks for the reminder!

Great job with getting the Christmas cards started. I confess, we send out about 150 so I buy them in boxes *gasp!* I do make a few each year, but it does decrease the pressure. Your little Santa is adorable, and so is that tree! Wonderful card, Carol!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card...love that fabulous tree!
ReplyDeleteI fall into the "started thinking AND shopping" category. Every time I think I have worked out what I am going to do, I think....well, maybe I could do X...or Y....or Z. lol It will all come together in the end. And your card is lovely. The tree is definitely the perfect addition to the tag.
ReplyDeleteOh, well, you've got three Xmas cards, already, Carol ...I have not one done, yet!!! ...'bout time I get into gear, hey!!! To be honest ..Xmas cards aren't my favorite to make ...I'd rather do birthday cards ...those are much easier for me!!!
ReplyDeleteYour card is so cute and I love the darling little Santa and the lovely tree!!!! The sentiment fits so perfectly at the top of the tag and I love the patterned paper with the border at the bottom!!!! Lovely card!!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!!
