After a wonderful yet, as always, too short trip to visit my family, I arrived home and BAM! Hit with the realization that I hadn't created my DT card for Addicted to Stamps and More #167~Make Your Mark. Of course, given how familiar I am with 'last minute' (which doesn't always translate to 'super fantastic), yet always in dire need of inspiration of some fashion, I went on a search for ideas. It didn't take long before I found my muse, in the form of Melania Deasy and her delightful card here.
I'm still well-immersed in my infatuation with Halloween cards/projects (coming to an end, soon...Christmas cards a-calling), I brought allllll my little Lawn Fawn monsters out for a play date. I 'made my mark' with my Chameleon pens, distress ink (sponging) and white gel pen (it's hard to see the freckles I added, but they're all sporting a sprinkling). The 'hills' add kind of a cool touch to my usual same old, same old panels and I can see using this design again, with different images. For now, those monsters make me smile. Seriously, look at those faces *grin*
My ultra-talented Design Team has shared some amazing *Make Your Mark* cards; please be sure to stop by, show them some love then create a card/project that reflects your inspiration with inks, pencils, water-colours, markers...
