My wonderful Ink design team - Marina, Shauna, Sandie, Yvonne, Nonni, Kim, and Pia - along with our marvelous and talented Guest Designer, Hannelie - invite you to spend the next two weeks designing cards/projects inspired by Inkspirational Challenge #93~ Glow
*Glow*...shimmering candles, pretty lights, sparkling stars, the blush of love...Where does 'glow' take you?
Actually, I should have made that list for myself, because yep: challenged! My excuse: too much Halloween on the brain of late. Result: a play with creating sponged 'glow-ish' backgrounds for my MFT Spooky House.
Here's the first. See the'glow' in the windows? How about the door? I knew you did! *grin*
A second...let's not discuss the rather crooked sentiment...shoulda known better!
You'll see plenty of 'glowing' inspiration at Inkspirational...and we hope to see YOUR creations glow in the gallery!

Wishing you a wonderful Saturday and so very delighted you took time to drop by!
Hugs,
You do love Halloween! These cards are a joy, the backgrounds are inked beautifully and perfect for a spooky Halloween night x
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up! I think your 'glowing' haunted houses are the bomb! I thought the purple sky was my favorite but now I'm fairly well biased to loving them both. WONDERFUL cards you've designed here.

Carol, you totally nailed this one! I hadn't even thought of Halloween as a perfect fit for the "Glow" theme.....and I absolutely adore your card with the red/orange background :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sponged backgrounds - perfectly glowing and fabulously spooky with the haunted house.
ReplyDeleteOh my, Carol, those background glow so prettily. Although, for Halloween, not sure if that is the effect you are going for. But pretty they are! I adore your take on this challenge. Happy weekend to you! :)
ReplyDeleteYour sponged skies make me swoon - they are so gorgeous! Together with the black silhouettes and the glowing windows they make fantastic cards! Love them!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bgs and wonderful silhouette scenes.
ReplyDeleteThese backgrounds are gorgeous... especially those on your spooky house cards :)
ReplyDeleteOMG what fabulous...fabulous colours on those backgrounds...love these cards and I am not a great Halloween fan...I know... it's different in the UK...BUT I love these stamps...is it possible to have classy Halloween stamps? because these are definitely classy in my book! xx
ReplyDeleteWell if you hadn't mentioned the crooked sentiment, I would have never noticed! heheh! Both of these are AMAZING! Your blended backgrounds are stunning and they looks so perfect with the black silhouettes!! Love them to pieces!! Have a fun weekend my friend! ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteGlowing & gorgeous! These are wonderful, Carol!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous, Carol. Plenty of GLOW. Lucky for you I had lots of wine at dinner and the sentiment looks very straight to me! ;)
ReplyDeletehugs, Asha
Wonderful spooky, glowy creations Carol. I love the color combinations you chose for your skies. Both so different but both are fabulous. Love the GLOW in the door and windows, and the touch of the clouds in the sky.
ReplyDeleteFabulous glow on both cards, Carol ... the backgrounds and windows ... gorgeous behind those spooky houses! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteWOW do I ever see the glow!!! LOve this die, c... and your blended eerily spooky skies are FANTASTIC!

Lovin' the 'glow' on both!! Awesome and spooky cards (and yes, crooked sentiment and all! ;))
ReplyDeleteLove your ink blending. Beautiful glow & colours on both cards.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards! Love the glowing! xo
ReplyDeleteOh.....these are just fabulous and have just the right amount of spookyness to them. So fun!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love, Absolutely LOVE these cards - so phenomenally cute and super well done!!! TRULY SPOOKTACULAR!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE these - not only are the skies beautifully sponged, but those skinny clouds and bats fluttering around are just perfect! Yes - they are wonderful "glow" cards!
ReplyDeleteOh Carol, I love these Halloween cards so much! The little scenes you've created are wonderful. Your inked backgrounds look fabulous! :-)
ReplyDeleteOH MY GOSH!!!!!! I love these!!!!!! WOW !!!!!! You have a hit on your hands girl!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful Halloween cards--love the fantastic backgrounds you created, and that die is so fun. I would not have noticed the crooked sentiment if you had not mentioned it. Perhaps a witch flying by on her broom just bumped into it?
ReplyDeleteFABULOUS cards! They definitely have the glow and the wow factor going on! Sentiment looked fine to me until I read your post...you are waaaaay too fussy girl!
ReplyDeleteThe minute I saw these cards I just thought - WOW! They are sensational. The backgrounds look perfect. The haunted house is perfect. Let's just say that both cards are perfect!
ReplyDeleteThese are so amazing!! I love all that gorgeous blending, it really does have a glowing effect with the black house in the foreground. I think the second card has my favourite glow colour combo, can never go past yellow and pink. I'm terrible at stamping my sentiments straight, thats way I quite often photograph my cards on an angle, not to noticeable then......
ReplyDeleteVery cool spooky scenes on your cards, Carol! I love, love, love how you blended your inks for the background...wow! I wouldn't have noticed the crooked sentiment if you hadn't mentioned it...no worries, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteThe sponged backgrounds for your spooky house are phenomenal you need to give me a lesson on sponging your backgrounds are always amazing!
ReplyDeleteI love your wonderfully inked backgrounds, Carol, and the windows do glow, making the house even eerier than ever.
