We're just back from our bike-racing officials meeting, accompanied with a two hour drive, in mega gusty winds, each direction. The "field trip" was a nice change of pace, but...I missed my crafting time! A day without crafting is like...like..a day without sunshine (or so it feels!). I'll survive...besides, posting my made-yesterday card will fill in as my crafting fix.
Wonderfully talented Vicki was this week's MUSE #112 featured artist, with this pretty creation:
No birds on my card, but still a 'something' with wings ....
I sponged my butterfly with colours similar to those on Vicki's cards, used my wood-grain stamp for the 'stripes' and...done. Easy (sort of...once I figured it all out). Hope I've done your card justice, Vicki, with my 'translation.'
NOTE: So honoured and delighted to be a Top Three at Muse! THANK YOU!!
Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! My husband's off for a much-needed, much-deserved week long break from work (and me *grin*) to see his family. Time to ride his bike and be spoiled and pampered by his mom. I have to work, so I'll be staying here...missing him, but knowing he's having a chance to rejuvenate. The plus: don't have to clean up my crafting zone, as I do every day!
Thanks so much for dropping by; your visit and comments add sparkle to my day!
Hugs,
