Hello!
We've had a busy Sunday spent in the 'big city,' (left at 7am and returned just now at 8pm) with my husband teaching a cycling coaching course and I hanging about with him for the morning session, before heading off to a nearby mall for some retail therapy. I didn't buy anything, but oh, there's plenty on the wish list!
Best news: my technology issues seem to be resolving themselves! Yayyy! I'll be catching up on comments, emails and FB messages this week (fingers crossed the resolution remains stable!).
Since I'm madly dashing about doing my sous chef duties, my post is a quick-draw quick share for
The Card Concept #33
My clean and layered flower blocks (Clearly Besotted...love CB!) are meant to mirror the solid of the lamp shade, the lines of the grey wall and the polka dots of the ottoman. Such a fun stamp and die set...
Must dash but before I go: THANK YOU for continuing to visit me and leave sweet comments, even when I'm in the midst of 'seeming' to be MIA! As I mentioned...some techie techniques have been put into play, so...I should be good to go soon!
Wishing you a marvelous Sunday evening; thank you for dropping by and adding sparkle to my day!
Hugs,
Yay for technical difficulties resolutions at last! Let's hope that is the end of it. Now onto your card - so lovely. The grey and the pink - lovely combo. Love how you have popped up the images with that sweet banner at the bottom. Another classic C card! :)
ReplyDeleteYay for retail therapy! I was in the city with DD on Sat, and DS on Sunday. Enough for a while. Love your take on the Card Concept photo.
ReplyDeleteYay for this card! It's gorgeous and a winner in my book! Got my internet problems fixed yesterday, but am still in the Spring cleaning/company coming mode...Lots to do but wanted to stop and say hi. Also give my regards to your mom. Bev
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, Carol. Great colors and so visually interesting. I like how you lined up the design and popped it for a bit of dimension. Very well done. So glad for you that your tech troubles are being taken care of. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLove the clean simplicity of this one :)
ReplyDeleteOh my what a fabulous take on the photo...you clever thing! Great card! I take it the beige jumper did not materialise? and hopefully the*s* neither! xx
ReplyDeleteAwesome color blocks Carol, I love CB too. Thank you for sharing at the Card Concept!
ReplyDeletePerfectly stamped and arranged, Carol. Wonderful card for the challenge,.
ReplyDeleteLOVE how you gleaned your card elements from the photo! Sa-weet clean and simple (or perhaps clean & graphic) design!
ReplyDeleteYou seriously wandered around a mall for several hours without a single purchase? You really need to bottle that 'resolve' and sell it....and then spend that money on more craft supplies! Sounds like a good plan to me ....
Brilliant take on the photo. Can't go wrong with pink and grey either R:)
ReplyDeleteThese colors look awesome together -- perfect lined up card~
