Have a Great Day...Addicted to Stamps and More #111~Anything Goes (DT), CAS(E) this Sketch #90, CAS on Sunday #41~B & W with one colour

Hello...the long weekend flew by with lightning speed, and the same goes for time, in general!  It seems like only last week that I created a card for Addicted to Stamps and More, yet two have already passed.  Once again, I'm thrilled to join with the rest of the DT for this week's challenge:  Addicted to Stamps and More #111~Anything Goes. This time, though, we're including an optional twist - GET WELL/THINKING OF YOU for a former DT member, Marie.  I know a visit from you would cheer her immensely, and if you created a card, well, just imagine how much her spirits would be lifted!

My design was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch #90


 and CAS on Sunday #41~Black & White with One Colour.  I chose 'pink'...kind of a coral pink.

A simple little number...


The background paper, covered with little bikes,  prompted me to reach for my CB die, as does having my husband away for the remainder of the week, fulfilling his role as an official at the Tour of Alberta 6-day bike race.  It's pretty obvious where my mind was when I created this...and I hope the flutter of butterflies will bring a smile to Marie's face.

    This card made me smile big and perked up my day!! I have been stuck in bed today since I fell down the stairs yesterday and shook myself up a bit!! I have taken the time to visit and look at all your cards and you ALWAYS make me smile. I am sorry that you are on your own-some but I am glad that you have the weekend to look forward too!! I am impressed with all those butterflies riding on the handle bars of the bike -- is that a single stamp done over and over -- or is it a cluster of your favorite thing - butterflies!! The way you use butterflies inspires me!! I love that whenever I see a butterfly anything now I think of YOU my dear friend C!! Have a wonderful night!! Craft something extra for me since I won't be getting up tonight!! Maybe I can sneak into my craft room tomorrow! Hugs to you!!

    Fabulous and sweet card. I love your adorable little bicycle and that background paper is just as amazing. I have to agree with Taunya, your cards brings a big smile to my face.

    aha:

    A group of butterflies is also called a "swarm", "rabble", "kaleidoscope" or "flutter" of butterflies.

    Love the DP background to your card, you obviously had your hubby on your mind when you reached for this. Great idea to link the CB die and stamp to it, a perfect marriage. The butterflies just add the feminine touch. :)

    Oh I love the design with the little stitched panel along the bottom. The bicycle die is just adorable too! That background paper could NOT BE any more perfect!! Love it!! ((Hugs))

    Gah!!! Totally in love with this!! I'm afraid of the slant - like, terrified! But just look at you!! OMG, fabulous! My fave part of this beauty? Those sweet little butterflies floating delicately out of the basket and fluttering away. Happy sigh...!!!

    It was long time ago I see you on my Blog Carol...hope you are doing well and not under the water..I still create cards even my MIL get more worst...life must go on and I love join challenges too like you my dear friend...now about your card..I love your tiny cute butterfly with bike on your card and the DP is so yummy..nice color and nice arrangement and great using the sketch..I wish I can always visiting you every day my friend but my time is limited with two little boys around me (SMILE) also I will try my best...and big hugs from me in Germany...hugs hugs hugs
