Color Hues Challenge #140 - Dusty Blue and Brown - Hello Friend, Love You Deerly (C and 9th - Woodland Turnabout)

And here we are: September 1st already! Oh my!

A new month means a new challenge here at Colour Hues. For Challenge #140, our wonderful leader, Nancy, invites us to play with hues of Dusty Blue and Brown for the next two weeks. Such a pretty combination for a wide variety of images and themes.

We're thrilled to have ultra-talented Michele joining us as our Guest Designer.

This combination spoke 'woodsy' to me, so out came my Concord and 9th Woodland Turnabout. Two shades of brown ink + two of dusty blue = a simple card that makes me happy. Hope the friend on the receiving end likes it.

My young-in-spirit old gal is certainly celebrating in high style! This card was made using a red-and-black collection of papers and ephemera from Simply Stated Design. She's having a blast 'aging gracefully', isn't she!
