Inkspirational Challenge #333 - Word Prompt - SNOW - Star Snowman Tag and Felt

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #333 where, for the next two week, we invite you to draw
inspiration from our Word Prompt: SNOW. Definitely a shift from the cozy quilts we asked you to create previously! Snow flakes, snowy landscapes, snowy skies, snow people...all kinds of possibilities for your cards/projects.

I'm sharing something a little different this go-round. First, a felt SNOWman...

followed by a paper-version SNOWman. If you look closely at him, he's also sprinkled with a scattering of Lawn Fawn mini snowflakes.  I can tell you: as adorable, soft and plushie as the felt snowman is, the paper one is also sweet - and certainly much faster/easier to make. LOL!

Here are the two SNOWpals!

Please head over to the main blog to see the fabulous creations by my teammates, then play along with us.

We're looking forward to seeing flurries of snow-themed cards/projects in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

  2. These are SNOW wonderful my friend. I love every detail. I'm resisting the felt trend as hard as I can. I love how you created your snowy friend in paper. I'd have been itching to stitch that one, too! Thank you for sharing these delights, Carol!

  3. You are correct Carol! Both the felt and paper versions are adorable! I've made some felt unicorns and I can attest as to how much time it takes! Beautiful job on your stitches and so many fun details on each of them! Julia xx

  4. I LOVE both snowmen and think I may need to do some of those in felt for 2025 Christmas! Two fun ways to play in the snow, Carol!
