Hello,
Welcome to Color Hues Challenge #97, where our wonderful hostess, Jules, has selected hues of Olive and Mustard as inspiration for the next two weeks. Yes, those colours certainly speak to Fall however, as you'll see on the challenge blog, my teammates have been quite inventive with how they've played with this combination.
I played with Lisa Horton's Sunflower Garland stencil and die (it's meant to fit on a slimline, but can be readily adapted to other sizes of card panels), and paired it with a Honey Bee Stamps sentiment. The sunflowers are delightfully easy to stencil - and the bonus is that the center flower can be stenciled then die cut separate from the others and popped up for added dimension.
Please head over to the main blog to see the dazzling delights my teamies created, then join us.
The challenge will be open until October 29th @ 9:00 am EDT.
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge and the overall
winner will have the opportunity to be a future Guest Designer.
