Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #696. Our lovely hostess, Bobby, has selected *Moon* for Word Week. Harvest Moon, Blue Moon, full moon, quarter moon...lots of possibilities.
We're delighted to have Stephanie Lanzalotto joining us once again as our September guest designer. Her card is super cool, as are those by my teammates.
I've had Trinity Stamp's October Sky stencil for ages but haven't given it much play time. That changed when I happened upon Amy Rysavy's card here, which renewed inspiration to bring it out. I just followed her video (used similar supplies, minus her witch image and fabulous shaker bits) to create my simplified, glitter-only shaker card. No sentiment...I think it's pretty clear this is a Halloween card.
Looking forward to seeing your *Moon* themed cards in the gallery.
Love your glitter-filled shaker card, Carol. Yes, it is quite evident that this is a Halloween card! It is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWow this is so cool! I love that scene you created. I'll have to check out that stencil (I love stencils!). And I love how you made it into a full shaker. Really cool card!
ReplyDeleteOH, C! I am bewitched by your faBOOlous Halloween shaker card! What a fantastic stencil set!

Screams an awesome Halloween night! 😊
ReplyDeleteOkay, I "need" that moon stencil now!!! I love your scene with it's blend of colors and the "spooky" trees and bats! You also had me at shaker...which I would shake often if I had it in my hands. Great moon card!!!
ReplyDeleteCarol...Fabulous! Super stencil...even more fun as an edge to edge glitter shaker!!
ReplyDeleteTerrific stenciled background, Carol. I love that you turned it into a shaker card. Great fun and not scary Halloween card.
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with that stencil set. The glitter shaker is wonderful and yes, there is no sentiment needed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a faBOOlous moon! This is pretty, Carol and just spooky enough!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous spooky scene! I love that you made it a shaker filled with glitter. I may have to CASE this idea.
