Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #671, where our sweet hostess, Elizabeth, has selected a fabulous Spring/March themed Moodboard as inspiration. Oh, the choices!
Yellow, greens, flowers, pastels, lemons...pure yumminess!
Once again, awe-mazing Michele Ferguson joins us as our Guest Designer. Her card is wonderful, as are those of my teammates.
Lemon pie popped into my mind, so I've baked a couple. First, one with a double crust (because I'm not a meringue fan), along with colours drawn from the paint swatches (top right) and the daisies.
For those who like their lemon pie a la meringue, here's another, using the other section of the stenciled panel. All dies are from Spellbinder's Pie Collection; sentiments + banner from Concord & 9th.

Both pies looks absolutely scrumptious! Dare I say though, that I mostly adore the daisies?? :) Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI won't eat meringue either but your card(s) are so yummy. I have had the pie dies in my cart more than a few times and you are influencing me with your darling cards. Between the box and the flatware, I would have a hard time picking a favorite. Fabulous takes on the moodboard!

You had me at pie! Any flavor, any time of day! I adore these so very much, Carol. Every time I see this set on the Hobby Lobby clearance rack, I would pick it up and put it back. Totally regretting it now that they aren't carrying any Spellbinders anymore. I may have to head to the website and see if it's still available. AWESOME JOB!
