Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #623, where our lovely hostess, Vicki, invites us to use embossing folders as this week's trend. So many ways to use embossing folders - as is through to dressing them up with style and flair - and so many folders to choose from - simple to 3D. Oh, the possibilities...
Once again, JoAnn Burnham joins us as our March guest designer. Her card and those of my team really showcase the umpteen possibilities that embossing folders offer.
I've gone with simple imprinting of my pawprints embossing folder because a) I love it, b) it works perfectly every time (no cracking of paper) and c) I don't have a wide selection of folders. And the one 3D folder I have doesn't cooperate, despite trying all the tips I've read/tried. So...going with tried and true! My puppy face and sentiment finishes up this birthday card for a dog-loving friend!
Looking forward to seeing your embossing folders starring on your projects this week!
so cute,
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, Carol. That is a fun embossing folder. How frustrating that your 3D one doesn't work for you. Your tried and true looks terrific!
ReplyDeleteCarol... your EF is so cute and perfect for your card! For me, it was the dog bone sentiment though that brought the card over the top!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great EF that I certainly am not surprised that you have in your stash. I like Eliz, adore that greeting! His sweet face is pretty cute too!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card and perfect EF with the cute image and sentiment - Love it.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute embossed background with the fun image :)
ReplyDeleteDare I say it... this is so dog-on cute! What a fun embossing folder!
ReplyDeleteThis is so darn cute! That embossed background is so fun paired up with that adorable dog face and I love the sentiment on the bone! Super fun card!
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Carol. That folder would go great with any kind of dog card but this one has an adorable face.
ReplyDeleteJust the perfect embossing folder here Carol. Love the cute puppy face and then you throw in the perfect sentiment on a bone. You rock!
ReplyDeleteYou have the cutest animal stamps and this little doggie with his pawprints all over the background is just adorable! Is that blue scalloped oval not eyelet but pawprints?!!!!! So cute!!! Your cards always bring me a smile!!!
