Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #593, where our lovely Angie has selected Yellow, Teal and Grey as our colour inspiration this week.
Once again, Chrissie Stokes joins us as our July Guest Designer. Her card, as well as those of my team, really highlight how pretty and versatile this palette can be.
Concord & 9th's Postmarked Turnabout and Snail Mail sets were part of my order when they had their moving sale. Soooo happy with these, as they're just a ton of fun! I figured out how to use the Turnabout on a slimline panel (three turns and some selective inking make this really quite simple). A sentiment and the little snail - the star of the stage, in my opinion - finishes it off! I'll definitely be trying this with other colour combinations at some point!
That's all from me; looking forward to how Yellow, Teal and Grey inspire you!
Terrific card, Carol. Great color combo. Neat to hear you figured out how to use the turnabout on a slimline card. :)
ReplyDeleteSuper fun! Love that stamped background too :)
ReplyDeleteSo fun in the challenge colors, Carol. That snail is adorable and I love that you added the heart.
ReplyDeleteI have decided that your cards always appear machine-made. Now that is a huge compliment as there is never anything crooked, smudged, and or out of place. Another wonderful job!
ReplyDeleteSuper fun card Carol. That bg looks amazing in this weeks colours. Fantabulous!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet card, love how you used the colors and that background!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sweet card! Love the soft colours of the background turnabout and the bright yellow of the focal panel. You _will_ share with me one day how you stretch a square turnabout to a slimline, right?
ReplyDeleteThis is terrific, I love that gentle backdrop! It has been great to join you as GD this month!
