Hello,
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #585, where our sweet Cécile has selected a pretty bouquet of daisies as this week's photo inspiration. What catches your eye: the daisies, the colours, the textures, everything? Simple image with so many possibilities!
Once again, we're delighted to have Jacinda joining us as our May guest designer. Her card, and those of my team, are WOW! Please drop in, share some love, then join us!
My eyes were drawn to the flowers + vase, the kraft, the 'texture' and the overall simplicity, which resulted in this mid-size slimline card. It's a compilation of products from a host of my favourite companies: Missees by Karin Joan (sentiment), STAMPlorations (background), Pinkfresh Studio (flowers and vase) and My Creative Time (card panels/base). I'm not particularly talented when it comes to flower-themed challenges but...I'm happy with the way this one turned out. Hope it makes you smile!
That's it from me; looking forward to how the photo inspires you!
Lovely card, Carol! You did a wonderful job on this flower card challenge. I like the textured background and the pretty delicate looking flowers. Give yourself a pat on the back! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Love how much of the inspiration elements you were able to add to this still delicate-looking card.
ReplyDeleteYou arranged those dainty flowers perfectly, Carol. The background die works well in place of burlap.
