Hello,
Happy April 1st...already...and welcome to The Colour Hues Challenge #15, where we're inviting you to use hues of pink and green as inspiration for the next two weeks. Perfect combination as we await the arrival of Spring (slow going here in Alberta).
Guess what? I finally decided to create a flower card; something I don't do often because colouring and arranging blooms just aren't in my wheelhouse. I would make a lousy florist! Fortunately, the Colorize Brushstroke Flowers require zero colouring and very little arranging finesse! Yayyyy for die cuts and double yayyyy for a sticker sentiment. I used my STAMPlorations' circle cover plate to add background texture and voila...pink and green done!
Please visit the rest of the team, along with our guest designer; they've created quite the array of dazzling delights with Pink and Green:
The challenge is open until 9:00 AM (EST) on Apr. 14th.
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live on April 16th.
The overall winner will have the opportunity to be a
future Guest Designer!
Thank you for dropping by!
I know florals aren't in your wheelhouse but this one is very pretty! Your choice of tones of paper works so well. I think my favorite color is the green in the center of the flowers. And where did you get your sticker greetings? Anywhere in particular? Seems like a great time saver! Awesome card and I hope you have a lovely day!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I love how big and beautiful these flowers are. And... flowers!
ReplyDeleteThose floral die cuts are gorgeous! They make for a stunning focal point--wonderful card!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was an Altenew flower I missed at first, Carol. I think it's fun putting them together and yours is pretty in pink.
