Seize the Birthday Challenge #209~Three Shades of Green...Stitched Turnabout Have an Awesome Birthday

Hello,

I'm delighted to once again join the Seize the Birthday team with my third Surprise Party Guest appearance over at the Seize the Birthday Challenge

With St, Patrick's Day rapidly approaching, the topping is 3 Shades of Green and yep...I went for it!

Because Concord & 9th turnabouts are rather *ahem* plentiful in my stash, they're often a 'go to' when a challenge calls for colour combinations. Here, I used not three, but four, shades of green ink, also from C & 9th, with the Stitched Turnabout: Sprout, Parsley, Clover and Sea Glass. Four turns, one die cut heart, one sentiment (Studio Katia)...done! The most time consuming part was aligning the stamp onto the template for the jig - and even that didn't take long. In fact, by starting with the lightest ink first, I also didn't need to clean my stamp between applications. So simple!

Thank you, Nancy and the rest of the team, for inviting me to play cards with you in March.  To my visitors: thank you for dropping by. I hope you'll join us in the gallery, with or without the topping.

Thank you for dropping by!

  14. This is so lovely! So great that you went the extra mile (kilometre) and used 4 shades of green! I have yet to try one of those turnabout sets - you make it look easy (I really am scared of them).
