Hello,
I'm thrilled to be joining the Seize the Birthday team as the Surprise Party Guest for February and March. Such a wonderful opportunity to play cards with super talented designers and, at the same time, add to my birthday card stash.
All Seize the Birthday Challenges are "Anything Goes", with an optional topping for those who want to be more venturesome with their cards. For the next two weeks, the topping is Hearts; perfect for any month but especially for February, the month of LOVE!
Concord & 9th's I Chews You bundle has been sitting in my craft room for nearly (or just over...yikes!) a year, so when I found out about the hearts theme, it took me all of a nanosecond to bring it out for a play. Please welcome the debut of my gumball machine, a la shaker, filled with an assortment of sparkly, foiled and cardstock hearts. I backed the panel onto a piece of heart-patterned cardstock to ensure there were LOTS of hearts on this little number! Just a note: these images are super simple to stamp and die-cut, plus they're exponentially cute. Once again, high scores for C & 9th's ingenuity!
So happy you are our party guest for the next two months! Welcome and thank you for an amazing inspiration card. Using the gumball machine filled with hearts is genius...love how you put this altogther, even the two falling out of the machine! Fantastic card!
