Hello,
Is this month whooshing by as quickly for you as it is for me? Hard to believe we're already mid-October; hard to believe that it's time for a new Colour Hues Challenge #4~Blue & Orange! A fabulous pairing for Fall/Halloween or whatever sparks your imagination!
My first card features The Greetery Pinwheels stencils and dies, generously loaned to me by you sweet friend, Karen. This is such a cool concept; I made sure to ink up a bunch of the pinwheels - both in the version here and individually, for down-the-road. Two shades of blue; two of orange...easy-peasy!
Please visit the rest of the team; you'll be sooooo impressed by their creativity:
The challenge is open until 9:00 AM (EST) on October 29th.
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live.
The overall winner will have the opportunity to be a
future Guest Designer!
Thank you for dropping by!
Both cards are great! Those pinwheels are one of my favorites from The Greetery, and the Turnabout stamp creates a great card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful duo! I really like the pinwheels in the softer colors you used. Looks like you had fun with both techniques! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGosh I didn't realise it was a stencil for the first card, well done with the crisp look you achieved! :)
ReplyDeleteTwo fab cards, Carol - those pinwheels look amazing on card one and fun dots on card two!! Thanks for the inspiration at Color Hues - I'm back to play again :)
ReplyDeleteTwo great ways to show off the diversity of our two challenge colours - the first so soft and pretty, the second one bold and bright! Love both of them.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO IMPRESSED with your creativity, Carol! Not one but two fabulous designs! Your pinwheels have such depth of color for stencils. And gorgeous HUES too!
ReplyDeleteTwo great cards, Carol! Love them both!
