The Color Hues Challenge #3~Gold and Cream...Sunday Drive Happy Birthday

Hello,

OHMYSTARS...October 1st already! Where have the last several months gone? Wait...don't answer that! We know!

After another impressive turnout in the gallery (thank you to all who played along!), we're excited to invite you to join us at The Colour Hues Challenge #3, where hues of Gold & Cream are center stage.

In addition to the new palette, we're also thrilled to welcome our first guest designer, Ashwini, the winner of our inaugural challenge! You'll love her card!

On a whim (I've been doing far too much 'on a whim' shopping of late!), I invited Spellbinders' Sunday Drive (and a couple of add-on sets) into my collection. Talk about an interesting set of dies. I won't pretend: they're a bit finicky but so worth the time and effort for the results. I cut all the dies once with shimmer cream cardstock, did a second pass with gold, then simply went to town mixing and matching to create two cards.  Sorry that the gold is off in my photos (darn greenish tinge); in real life, it's so very pretty. Tonic...fabulous paper!

Please visit the rest of the team; you'll be sooooo impressed by their creativity:

The challenge is open until 9:00 AM (EST) on October, 14th.
The winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live.
The overall winner will have the opportunity to be a
future Guest Designer!

Thank you for dropping by!

Well done Carol!
