The Color Hues Challenge #2~Navy & Turquoise...Starry Proud of You

Hello,

Before I share the new challenge, I have to highlight that we had 61 gorgeous cards in the gallery: SIXTY-ONE!  Thank you for embracing this concept so enthusiastically...and let's keep the momentum going...and going...and going!

Welcome to The Colour Hues Challenge #2, where we're inviting you to use hues of Navy and Turquoise.

Since I'm obsessed with slimlines and with Concord & 9th products, I created a second card pairing both; this time, using the Star Turnabout Bundle. While the majority of stars are stamped, I decided that a few gaps needed to be filled; the stars die and some mirror cardstock did the trick (I haven't used that paper in ages! Glad I remembered it!).  I added sentiments from Simon Says and Studio Katia.  Sending this to my nephew; just as a reminder of how awesome I think he is!

Please visit the rest of the team; you'll be sooooo impressed by their creativity:

Now: YOUR TURN! Looking forward to seeing your hues of Navy and Turquoise in the gallery!

The challenge is open until 9:00 AM (EST) Sept. 29th and the winners will be posted an hour before our next challenge goes live on October 1st.

Thank you for dropping by!

  1. Carol, I love seeing how each of us interpret these colors. Your stars are amazing and I love seeing slimline cards. The sentiment is one I'm sure your nephew will like to hear and it's a great focal point!

  2. And how amazing is this card! I'd be obsessed with making slimlines too if they turned out half as fab as this. :D And I'm still trying to work my brain around using a turnabout on a slimline... ;)
