Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #548, where our sweet hostess, Bobby, has selected 'die-cut a window' as this week's trend.
I had several ideas for a window card but, after seeing the inspiration from MFT Summer School: Symmetry (Day 3),
I decided to switch directions and play with a new die that joined my collection: Blast Off! Nothing particularly uber creative here, as Stephanie used this Blast Off die for her instruction card, however, it's a 'first' for me, so that counts for 'original' on some level. The little window on my rocket is smothered with glossy accents for a glassy sheen. I had a blast with Blast Off...looking forward to a whole bunch more makes with it!
Looking forward to seeing your die-cut window creations in the gallery!
Thank you for dropping by!
This is a terrific card. I know one sweet young lady (my younger daughter) for whom this card is perfect, given she wants to work in some sort of space program after college. :) I really like the chevrons showing the movement of the rocket! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, how FUN!! I love your take on 'window' Carol, this is cute!
ReplyDeleteThis is terrific! Love the chevron background for the classy rocket ship. Fun!
ReplyDeleteFabulous and creative Carol. Great window card.
ReplyDeleteHold it there one minute my friend! EVERYTHING you do is creative! Honestly! This cute rocket ship is no exception. The stenciled background was brilliant to continue the symmetry factor. I wish you luck at MFT as this card is awesome!
