Just Us Girls Challenge #530~Word Week...Wishing You A Lovely Day

Hello,

I'm sure we're all continuing to find ways to adjust to the 'new' normal; hopefully, whatever you're doing is bringing you joy. 

Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #530, where lovely Ina has selected 'Feathers' as this week's theme.


New month; new guest designer! Given that I'm predisposed to bird terror, I don't have many feathers in my collection (or birds, for that matter!).  Hero Arts' Layering Peacock is the exception and what a lovely display of feathers this proud creature has! Shades of blue, with emerald green for the highlight spots made for easy stamping.

    Wow what a fabulous and beautiful peacock you have here Carol. Love the bling showing his feathers off. Great die cut for your lovely sentiment.

    Now that is a beautiful peacock stamp. I actually like it much better than the die cut that I just had to have. LOL I don't see me using mine a lot which is a disappointment. Do you ever buy something and think all my goodness this is going to be fabulous and then your like...eh?? Anywho, this is such a wonderful card! The intricate oval die really makes this card go to the next level!

    Your peacock is stunning! Your design is fabulous with that scalloped cut out framing your sentiment and your peacock is perfect framing the side of that cut out. So perfect for our Feathers challenge!

    Thanks for the warm welcome and having me as your GDT! Peacock feathers are some truly amazing feathers - nature is always amazing! I am surprised you using a peacock - they can be actually quite nasty and scary - did you get over your fear of birds? ;)
