Uniko Challenge #57~Anything Goes (optional twist: Cool Winter Colours)...Happy Winter Birthday

Hello,

Welcome to the January/February 2020 Uniko Challenge where the theme is Anything Goes (definitely a fan-favourite) with the optional twist of COOL Winter Colours!

Joining us as our Guest Designer is the incredibly talented and sweet, Trina P. You'll love her fabulous card!

Here in Alberta, over the past week, our daytime temperatures have been -28C to -30C; nighttime from -38C to -43C. Just a 'tad' chilly, so you can well imagine that the optional twist was 'not' an option for me *grin*

It comes as no surprise that I adore the Let it Snow stencil (and the snowflake stamps/die as well!), so I inked it up with distress inks in shades similar to those in the photo. Once done, I created an aperture (Studio Katia) for my sentiment: a masked "winter" from Stunning Snowflakes and Happy + Birthday from Birthday Sentiments.  A few clear droplets for shine and...voila. Done! I know many people with winter birthdays, so this one will be heading to the post soon!

Please be sure to visit Trina and the rest of the Uniko Brand Ambassadors for some marvelous inspiration.

As always, PRIZES are involved (Bev is so sweet!). Here's the scoop:

  • Main Winner Chosen By the DT - £25 eGift Certificate
  • Random Twist Winner - £5 In Stock Clear Stamp Set of Winners Choosing
  • Random Uniko Stamps Winner - £5 In Stock Clear Stamp Set of Winners Choosing
  • Top 3 Chosen By DT - 150 Loyalty Reward Points

You have plenty of time to play along with this challenge: the linky closes at midnight (GMT) on Friday, February 21st, 2020.

We're looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!

  1. Oh Carol, I love it when you ink blend. You are so good at getting gorgeous blends of color. I adore thes beauitufl snowflakes. Don't you wish they actually looked like this? Then the cold might be a little teensy bit more bearable. Stay warm, my friend!! Hugs!
