Hard to believe that Christmas has come and gone; a blink of an eye! BUT, still plenty to celebrate for the next couple of weeks! For us, the celebration continues at my mom's, where we're spending lovely time with her and, of course, my niece and nephew! Hockey games (my nephew's), shopping, walks with Lily, cookie baking...all on the agenda!
Speaking of celebration: Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #203, where we have this fabulous photo to spark your creativity. From images/elements to the the 'theme'...whatever piques your fancy is sure to pique ours!
The tree, the clocks and the 'joy' that infuses this photo are translated into my card with the trees, the scalloped circle and the joy sentiment. Patterned paper + matching ephemera = all neat, tidy and easy!
My wonderful teammates have created fabulous 'no stamping' projects; please visit and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:
Looking forward to seeing you in the gallery!
Just look at all those pretty trees! What a lovely pattern paper. Great sentiment, too. Hope you are having a fantastic time with your family! Merry and Happy everything!!
ReplyDeleteI’m a DP addict and I’m really drawn to the paper you’ve used on your card. The sentiment label fits nicely in, without covering too much of the paper.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Xmas was fun and such lovely background paper and love how you used the centre die with such a joyful sentiment. Sending hugs x
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful interpretation of the photo without making it for New Years, Carol. I never send New Years cards so you've sparked my inspiration with your lovely Christmas card. Have a wonderful time with the family!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great, simple but striking design. I just love the cluster in the middle. I know my card has a similarity to yours ....I didn't copy, honestly!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I love that patterned paper and your little feature heart. Very festive and I always appreciate non-traditional Christmas colors. Lovely!

ReplyDeleteGreat card for this challenge, Carol! The patterned paper you used is just perfect and I love the clean, simple layout and look of this card! xxx
ReplyDeleteThat paper looks beautiful. Love the way the sentiment circle matches the PP and yet stands out against it.
ReplyDeleteHappy new year to you and your family.
