Inkspirational Challenge #199~Designer's Choice: One Layer...Season of Beauty Poinsettia

Hello,

Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #199, where Sandie's Designer's Choice is for one layer cards.

Confession: I'm pa-thet-ic with one layer cards but...I gave it a go all the same! And yes...if you look closely, you can see a smudge. Sighhhhh!

My one-layer wonder (hahahahahhahaha) features Uniko Studio's brand-spanking new Season of Beauty stamps. It's filled with pretty floral images and lovely sentiments. The cool part: they work perfectly for one-layer cards!

My wonderful teammates have designed gorgeous cards; please visit and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:

Looking forward to visiting you in the gallery!

  3. You did a fine job with your one-layer card, my friend. And I barely noticed the near invisible smudge, so it's not something to fret about! That poinsettia is so pretty, and the reds are vivid and bright next to the greenery. Lovely Christmas card! Sending hugs. xoxo Bev

  4. The funny thing is, smudges only occur on my CAS designs, never when the intention is to fussy cut or to cover up. This is no pathetic design however, it’s a beautiful traditional Christmas design.

  5. It's beautiful! I don't do true one layer cards. I need more substance to my card fronts. I much prefer a white panel on a white card base...my version of one layer.

  9. I hear you on the one-layers - it's so hard to make it interesting. But you've found a stunning set that can stand on its own and make a statement. LOVE your bright and bold colors.
