Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #199, where Sandie's Designer's Choice is for one layer cards.
Confession: I'm pa-thet-ic with one layer cards but...I gave it a go all the same! And yes...if you look closely, you can see a smudge. Sighhhhh!
My one-layer wonder (hahahahahhahaha) features Uniko Studio's brand-spanking new Season of Beauty stamps. It's filled with pretty floral images and lovely sentiments. The cool part: they work perfectly for one-layer cards!
Looking forward to visiting you in the gallery!

Thank you for dropping by!
Beautiful! Vibrant red and pretty green make for a beautiful poinsettia. :)
ReplyDeleteI don't see a smudge and I think this is perfection Carol! Perfect pop of color and movement~
ReplyDeleteYou did a fine job with your one-layer card, my friend. And I barely noticed the near invisible smudge, so it's not something to fret about! That poinsettia is so pretty, and the reds are vivid and bright next to the greenery. Lovely Christmas card! Sending hugs. xoxo Bev
ReplyDeleteThe funny thing is, smudges only occur on my CAS designs, never when the intention is to fussy cut or to cover up. This is no pathetic design however, it’s a beautiful traditional Christmas design.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I don't do true one layer cards. I need more substance to my card fronts. I much prefer a white panel on a white card base...my version of one layer.
ReplyDeletewell you looked like you roc one layer to me! Fab depth in colour and so full of Xmas and do ove placement of the sentiment-fab card Carol....and I looked and didn't see a smudge.....I never worry about that anyway-cover it up with a gem or something or just leave it....our cards are home made!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! The design is perfect with the flower, foliage, big sentiment... an expert choice for a one layer!

Beautiful stamping, Carol! You are making the new flower stamp shine. xxx
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the one-layers - it's so hard to make it interesting. But you've found a stunning set that can stand on its own and make a statement. LOVE your bright and bold colors.
ReplyDeleteThis stamp set is on my wish list and I want it even more now after seeing this gorgeous card. You really are too hard on yourself, I love it! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
