Uniko Studio July 2019 New Release~RE-introducing Nautical Treasures AND Introducing Background Blocks Nautical Stripes, Fleur De Lis & Anchors (Wednesday, July 24, 2019)

Hello,

Welcome to Day 3 of the Uniko Studio July 2019 New Release, where we're RE-introducing Nautical Treasures that pairs wonderfully with some new products:  Background Block, Nautical Stripes and 2 new stencil designs, Anchors and Fleur De Lis.

I haven't dry-embossed stencils for ages, so decided to go this route with my trio of cards. Of course, photographing the impressions proved challenging, so...apologies for the 'darker' tones of my cards, but I wanted you to see how beautifully and easily these stencils (as do all Uniko stencils) make an imprint. A subtle impact that adds just a bit of 'something, something' to a background.

These make for wonderful masculine cards, especially for the sailing/boating guys in your life!

Now...turning you over to see what the rest of my fabulous team - and our guest designer, Keren Baker - have created. You'll be dazzled!

  6. I often forget half or the possibilities I could practice! The dry embossing with stencild is one of them! It looks fabulous and is such an "impressive" way to stretch the use of a stencil! Thanks for this reminder Carol!
    All three tag-cards look great!

    Hugs and greetings from Wiebke

  7. I really love these! And thanks for the reminder about using stencils to emboss. None of my sailboat stamps (yep, more than one...) are *accurate* enough for my husb, so he would love this!

  8. I love your stencilled dry embossed backgrounds - the last time I saw you use this technique I had a go but failed miserably! Maybe you could do a DT post on it with detailed instructions ... wink wink! x
