Welcome to Inkspirational Challenge #185, where we're inviting you to draw inspiration from this lovely photo.
As pretty as this image is, talk about a challenge! Finally, I decided to focus on the 'transparency' of the kettle and colours of the rocks to create a shaker card - using seed beads - with Winnie and Walter products. Perhaps a 'bit' of a stretch but, as always, we're all inspired by different things when it comes to photos, right? Right!
My wonderful teammates have interpreted the prompt in beautiful ways; please visit and leave them some love, which I know will be deeply appreciated:
Looking forward to visiting you in the gallery!
Thank you for dropping by!
I chose the photos this year and then wondered why I chose this one-found it hard! But I have to say-you rocked it with such a creative take-super idea and wonderful card x
ReplyDeleteI really like how you were inspired by this photo. You did indeed, "rock it" with your interpretation. Thank you SO much for sharing your creativity, Carol. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous interpretation of the inspiration photo. The shaker element, the design and the transparency of the die cut makes one stunning card x.
ReplyDeleteI love a good shaker card! Especially one like this with your neutral colors and the sentiment window... super design!

Very cool card, Carol! Hope you've had a lovely family day!
ReplyDeleteI love your interactive interpretation Carol! Such a modern, graphic, classy card~
ReplyDeleteThat is one difficult photo inspiration, Carol, but I'd say you nailed it. Your seed beads do look like the rocks and the trim on the bottom is a great accent.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant interpretation of the photo challenge! Love the graphic design and shaker element. xx
ReplyDeleteYou should enter this in the current Color Combo challenge at W&W.

I love what you did here. So creative and unique - but totally perfect for the inspiration photo! The accent below the hello is a great look and I love how it takes it off-center.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like we had the same experience making cards for this challenge. I was onto the idea of transparency too, but then couldn’t find my acetate. The beads reminds of the pebbles. So not a stretch, just some decent and awesome thinking outside of the box creativity.
ReplyDeleteGreat take on the photo, Carol! Love your idea with the transparency and the shaker you created is delightful! love the large hello!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant, Carol ... you sure were inspired ... love the seed bead rocks and the crisp, clean look you captured from the photo! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome card, my friend! Loving how you were inspired by the photo. :)
