Uniko Studio January Non-Release Design Team Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY!

Hello (and yes, a third post!!),

Welcome to the first Uniko Studio Non-Release Design Team Blog Hop & GIVEAWAY of 2019. I'm delighted to join Bev, our wonderful leader and designer extraordinaire, and my teammates to showcase our favourite product released from 2018.  Given that a total of 23 new clear stamp sets, 2 re-introduced clear stamp sets, 14 stencil designs and 2 new designer die collections were launched in 2018, making a choice was not easy! Soooo much to love!

After much debate, I settled on the 'one' product that really does make my heart sing: the Pure Florals: Chrysanthemum Stencil.  Yes, 'just' a stencil, but I adore it. Plentiful possibilities to bring it to life and the best part: the memories it evokes of my grandmother's garden, filled with colourful, lush chrysanthemums as big as our heads (I exaggerate not...they were gorgeous and gi-normous!).

I opted for rainbow, because in my world, chrysanthemums can be any and all colours, and paired it with a sentiment from Simply Said Blocks and a smattering of Pretty Pink Posh crystals.

Rainbows make me smile; so do chrysanthemums! Hope my card brings you a smile, too.

Please visit my teammates to see how beautifully they've showcased their favourite products and do leave comments as you go to be in the running to win a Uniko £25 eGift Certificate.

You have until Midnight (GMT) Saturday 19th January 2019 to comment; the winner will be announced Sunday 20th 2019.

Thank you for dropping by!

  22. Big patterns always intimidate me - but you've given me such inspiration with this! Love the soft colors. And the bitty sentiment in black is perfectly "framed" by that big chrysanthemum!

  24. Gorgeous, Carol ! I also love this stencil and I would never thought of using it with rainbow colours, it's fabulous. But above all I love the story behind, your grandmother's garden with enormous chrysanthemums. My grandmother's garden was filled with hydrangeas, lots of them and also enormous....may be one day Bev will make one design with hydrangea. Have a great weekend !
