A bit of a blog-a-palooza happening today...
Welcome to Just Us Girls Challenge #470~Trend Week, where our wonderfully talented Vicki invites to use the Emboss Resist Technique on our cards/projects.
We're delighted to have dual Guest Designers - Janet Ribet and Cindy Major - joining us once again. Please visit them, as well as my teammates - Sue, Angie, Vicki, Ina, Bobby, Nancy, Lisa and Maria - who would love to know you dropped by.
I went 'very' simple with my emboss/resist card, as a) embossing, while beautiful, causes me 'warping' grief and b) watercolouring is...well, you already know...my nemesis! So...a 'smaller' canvas to try to mitigate my issues *grin*. My Favorite Things Roses All Over for the background and a simple sentiment from Uniko's Simply Said series. My zigs played 'sort' of nicely with the water....
Inspiration for my clean and layered card came from the pretty pink flowers at The Card Concept Challenge #106~Pink Party
Over to you...
Looking forward to seeing your lovely emboss resist techniques in the gallery!
